Care Provider Background Check
At Making Memories Agency LLC we are dedicated to providing a care provider that will make you feel safe and comfortable and that is why each care provider we consider for placement goes through an intensive background check. Care providers will have gone through the screening process below.
Minimum requirements for a Care Provider to be considered for placement opportunities:
· 21 and legally authorized to work in the US
· Clean criminal record
· Clean driving record, reliable transportation and car insurance (when driving is required for position)
· 2+ years of recent childcare experience
· At least 3 work references
· CPR & First Aid Certifications
· Continued Childhood Education

Making Memories Agency LLC will review all applications with an emphasis on finding care providers with great character, hard work ethic and an excellent skill set.
Interview Process
If an applicant’s resume meets our high standards, an interview will be scheduled. During the interview, Making Memories Agency LLC will have an in depth conversation focusing on the candidate’s personality, communication skills, work experiences, strengths/weaknesses and set expectations with candidates considered for placement opportunities.
Making Memories Agency LLC will also discuss with each care provider our company questionnaire which will ask a variety of questions on experiences, philosophies, certifications and much more allowing us the opportunity to get to know them better and what they will bring to your family.
References Check and Employment Verification
We require a minimum of three childcare references. Each reference is contacted by telephone and is asked a list of questions about the services and experiences provided by the candidate. We ask the reference to speak openly about the candidate.
Making Memories Agency LLC conducts background checks and utilizes a database of registered care providers that have cleared background checks.

· County Level Misdemeanor and Felony Criminal Records
· Credit Score Check
· Driving Record and History
· Federal Criminal Search
· International Background Checks
· Multijurisdictional Criminal Records
· Sex Offenders Registry Search
· Social Security Number Verification
Upon completion of the preliminary application Making Memories Agency LLC will require an in-depth final application and phone call in which the terms and conditions must be agreed upon to begin service or care-taking. As an Applicant I understand that Making Memories Agency LLC. is a Nanny or Home Staff placement service and we are not the employer of the Nanny and Home Staff. Nannies or Home Staff are not required to pay fees to be listed with our agency, all certifications are the applicants responsibility. You are free to be registered with other agencies and are not exclusively bound to Making Memories Agency LLC. Terms and Conditions are subject to change.
